Apply For Repairs
Everything from illness and aging to rising costs of living and job loss force local homeowners, many of whom live on fixed incomes, to make difficult decisions about how to spend their limited income. These are decisions no one should have to face. These are decisions no one wants to face. Similarly, nonprofits and community organizations that provide critical services face budget strains that affect their ability to serve their constituents, facility maintenance is often neglected as a result.
Rebuilding Together Peninsula helps restore safe conditions to homes and community centers that have limited disposable income to invest in repairs and maintenance. Free repairs are available to homes and community facilities that meet our eligibility requirements and the individual needs of the home or facility.
Repair services may include:
Basic plumbing and electrical work
Basic carpentry work
Grab bar installation and other home safety upgrades
Door and window repair
Energy efficiency upgrades
Interior and exterior painting
Debris removal
Floor repair

Community Facilities
The repairs we complete for nonprofit organizations make it possible for them to focus their budgets and efforts on meeting the needs of those who turn to them for help rather than on their maintenance costs. Rehabilitating an organization’s facility goes a long way toward boosting the esteem of staff and clients in addition to revitalizing the neighborhood. That’s why we provide free repairs to a wide range of community centers, including daycare facilities, preschools, shelters, schools, and health and human service organizations.
